Episode 89 | Remote Work Is Detrimental to Your Career

Question

Hey, Work Wives. I'm Taylor. I'm from Hartford, Connecticut, and I'm looking for a job right now. And while I'm not demanding remote work — 'cause I listen to your podcast — I do see remote jobs that look appealing. What do you think? Should I be applying for them? It would be nice to work from home, but I'm a bit concerned about what my career looks like on the other side of a remote job.

Summary

Women finally have the seat at the table. When you choose remote work, you’re giving up that seat.

…which means that if you want what’s best for your career, you do *not* want a remote job.
