Episode 159 | WTF Is "Enterprise"?

Question

Hey Work Wives, it's Abby from Seattle. So I'm a director at a pretty big company and I'm just looking to grow. And my next step up here is VP, but for a few different reasons that's not really an option for me. And I was at a dinner with some friends and someone sort of offhandedly said, like, "You need to be looking at enterprise companies." And then the conversation moved on pretty quickly and I felt kind of dumb asking him to back up and explain what that meant, so I'm just bringing the question here instead. Thanks in advance, ladies.

Summary

Put simply, “enterprise” means scale and complexity. But here's what it means to *you*.
