Episode 138 | WTF is Insubordination?

Question

Hi, Work Wives. This is Lana from Albuquerque, New Mexico.  I've been on the job hunt for a while and it hasn't been going well. Today, my current job notified me that I have to either comply with a new schedule change, which I really cannot do, by the way. I really have so much on my plate. Or be fired due to insubordination. Can they even do that? Like, what the fuck is insubordination anyway? What is this? I’m definitely feeling discouraged right now, and could use some extra help.

Summary

Insubordination. It sounds bad because it *is* bad, and because it’s never defined up front. So here’s your definitive guide to insubordination — and what to do to protect yourself.
