Episode 108 | How NOT to Be Corporate America's "Pick Me Girl"

Question

Hey, Work Wives. This is Logan. I am from Oklahoma City. You talk about visibility and impact, and telling everyone when you do your job, but I do not like to talk about myself — at all. I should just be able to let my work speak for itself, right?

Summary

Brown-nosers and Me Monsters are Corporate America’s “Pick Me Girls,” and they’re the worst. They get all the visibility (and, often, money) without making any impact.

So how do you get credit for your work, without being a Pick Me Girl?
