Hi Work Wives, this is Helen from St. Paul, Minnesota. So, the other day, I was at a networking event with a team I really want to be a part of. Drinks were definitely flowing, and the event went pretty late into the night. But by the end of the event, the VP of this team told me directly he wants me to be a part of the team. I was completely shocked to hear this from him as he's normally not one to do this. My question is, how should I go about following up on this? He's pretty high up within the company I work for, so I don't want to take up too much of his time, but I do want to gently remind him of what was said.
