Episode 172 | Is the Job Really Greener on the Other Side?
Question
βHey Work Wives, it's Cheryl from Destin, Florida, and I am having to choose between two offers. They both sound like great jobs and I'm really excited about both of them. So one of them is, um, it's got the title and the compensation that I want, but it's not work from home, and I would have to be in the office more than, um, probably I'd want to. The other one has the right compensation, but not the title I want, but I can work remotely. So I get the sense that maybe there's not as much growth in the second one where I'm working remotely, as there is in the first one. So I'm trying to decide between these two things, and I'm not really sure how to do it. I, I really want, I really want the work from home aspect on one side, and I want the growth on the other side, but when I look at the two jobs, it seems like I can't have both. If you have any guidance on these two things, I'd love to get your advice. Um, there are other trade-offs that I don't want to go into much detail on, but, um, but if you're choosing between two jobs, and none of them are 100 percent the job you want, how do you choose? Uh, that's my question
